Jay Walker Hansen

A memorial service for Jay Walker Hansen, 63, a former resident of Carson City, will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Utah.

Mr. Hansen died Sept. 9, 2007, in Georgetown, Texas. He was born Sept. 12, 1943, in La Mesa, Calif., to Claude Earl Hansen and Mariana Betz Hansen.

He married Loretta Dean Beasley in September 1963 in Roswell, N.M., Dell Patricia Eilken in February 1977, in Las Vegas and Barbara Durham.

Mr. Hansen was a systems engineer for the U.S. Navy and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961-65.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Anthony Alan.

Among his survivors are his wife Barbara Hansen; sons Brian, David and Gregory Hansen; daughter Elaine; sister Valentine McTee.

A memorial service will be Oct. 13 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4345 W. Las Posas Road in Camarillo, Calif.
