A bear spotted at 6:30 a.m. near the Nevada National Guard Armory is still in the area, but is now in the field near Lompa and Edmonds, south of Fairview Drive.
Today's weather calls for mostly sunny skies with highs in the low- to mid-70s. West winds will be between 10-15 mph, with gusts as high as 35.
A wind advisory has been issued for Highway 395 through Washoe Valley. Campers and trailers are not advised.
