HE-5 Resources, Corp. is sponsoring a Scholarship Contest in Carson City, Douglas, Lyon and Storey counties and will award five scholarships of $2,500 each to elementary school students. The awards will be based on the answers to the following question: "Why is mining important to Nevada?"
The contest deadline is Oct. 22, 2007. Further details will be announced this week in the Nevada Appeal, which will coordinate judging of the contest.
