After a scorless tie in the first half, Carson took a 3-0 lead in the second half before South Tahoe scored with about four minutes left. Carson outshot South Tahoe 14-4. Ian Gunn scored on an assist from Luis Gonzalez, Guellermo Alanzo scored on an assist from Miguel Camacho and Camacho scored on an assist from Gunn.
