Julius Przytakoski Jr.

Memorial services for Julius Przytakoski Jr., 75, a 24-year-resident of Carson City, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Autumn Funerals and Cremations.

Mr. Przytakoski died Sept. 17, 2007. He was born Nov. 10, 1931, in Michigan to Julius and Agnes Przytakoski. He married Irene Bednarz on Sept. 11, 1955, in Michigan.

Mr. Przytakoski served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and received the Purple Heart.

He worked for the Ford Motor Co. for 10 years. He managed his own janitorial business until his retirement in 1999.

He enjoyed reading nonfiction books, gardening and cooking.

Mr. Przytakoski was preceded in death by his sisters Virginia and Helen.

Mr. Przytakoski is survived by his daughters Diana Cook and Renee Snipes, both of Henderson, Lisa Ward of Carson City and Sharon Miller of San Diego, Calif.; sons Jay Przytakoski of Port Huron, Mich., Todd Przytakoski of Lakeport, Mich., and Guy Przytakoski of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; ex-wife, Irene Przytakoski of Henderson; brother, Bruno Przytakoski of Clawson, Mich.; sister Delores Przytakoski of San Diego; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
