Northbound lanes of Carson Street reopening

1:55 p.m. The no. 1 and no. 2 travel lanes of South Carson Street are reopening following the 1:15 p.m. accident. Two people were taken by Care Flight to the hospital. Numerous other injuries were reported from the six-vehicle accident.

1:30 p.m. Clearview Drive is being closed at Silver Sage so that Care Flight can land in the parking lot of the old Wal-Mart next to the Nevada State Bank.

Emergency crews and Sheriff's deputies are on the scene of a multi-vehicle accident with injuries at Clearview Drive and South Carson Street.

Deputies are closing streets in the immediate area and stopping traffic. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
