A graveside service for Wyatt Hamilton Jr., 83, a 12-year resident of Carson City will be 3 p.m. Friday at Reverence Chapel, third floor of Mountain View Cemetery in Reno.

Mr. Hamilton died Sept. 14, 2007, in Carson City. He was born Jan. 11, 1924, to Wyatt Lester Hamilton Sr. and Catherine Hamilton in Downey, Idaho. He married Delma Tacchino in Reno.

He was a bookkeeper for the Railway Express Agency for 30 years. He worked for the Washoe County School District for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing and bowling. He served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1980.

Among his survivors are his daughters and sons-in-law Linda and Jim Milne of Nuuk, Greenland, and Nancy and Rick Stilwell of Carson City; sister, Margaret Nysingh; brothers Bill, Roy and Keith Hamilton; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
