A funeral service for Walter "Buddy" Ulrey, 41, a seven-year resident of Fernley will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
Mr. Ulrey died Sept. 19, 2007, in Fernley. He was born Oct. 26, 1965, to Armin D. and Thelma Ulrey in California. Prior to moving to Fernley he lived in Las Vegas.
He married Jackie on Sept. 28, 1991, in Las Vegas. He was a food and beverage manager at Casino Fandango. He enjoyed dirt bike riding, moto-cross, and cooking.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his wife and mother of Fernley; sons Michael D. and Ashton T. Ulrey of Fernley; brothers and sisters-in-law Jerry D. and Susan Ulrey of Reno and Joseph "Joe" T. and Margie Ulrey of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
