Riley Frank Lala, 67, a six-year resident of Carson City, died Sept. 23, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Lala was born July 30, 1940, to Jaroslau and Mary Alta Lala in Lynxville, Wis.
Prior to moving to Carson City he lived in McGregor, Minn.
He married Josephine Tamsen Nov. 27, 1981, in Las Vegas. He was a machinist. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed airplanes, golf, and fishing.
Among his survivors are his wife of 25 years; parents; son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Roseanne; son, David Tamsen; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Tom Smith, Melissa and David Bramlett, Kimberly and Jim Overholser, Kristine and Brian Overturf; and daughter Kelli Schoenewe and 12 grandchildren.
There will be no services.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
