The Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors is pleased to announce the donation of over $7,000 to local charities. The donations were raised by the members and affiliates at the annual silent auction event.
Charities who got donations this year include: Kahle Community Center, Carson City Senior Center, Family Support Council, Churchill County Senior Center/Meals on Wheels, Sierra Nevada Community Land Trust, Dayton Senior Center/Meals on Wheels, Yerington Senior Center/Meals on Wheels.
The association also recently presented several members with the Circle of Distinction Award.

US Ordnance has started construction of its new 65,000-square-foot facility on a 12-acre site in Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. The building is expected to be done by August.
The company manufactures the M-60 7.623 caliber machine gun for the government and when the new plant is finished the company will move from its facility on Valley Road in Reno. It has outgrown that building and it will employee 45-65 people in its new production plant.

Chase International has relocated their South Lake Tahoe office in order to accommodate growth, additional agents and an increasing market share in spite of a national slow-down in real estate.
The new office is located at 989 Tahoe Keys Blvd., on the corner of Highway 50 and Tahoe Keys.
The move increases the office space from 2,000 to 5,000 square feet and has been completely remodeled in the same elegant style seen throughout Chase's six other area offices. There are currently 33 agents in the Chase International South Tahoe office.
