A Gardnerville man was arrested Tuesday shortly after robbing a Carson Street gas station, officials said.
Robert Swindall, 39, allegedly slid a note to the clerk, then fled after receiving five $20 bills. No weapon was shown.
After ditching his jacket containing his name, police found it and located Swindall at a motel nearby.
He is being held on $40,000 bail.
