Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Israel Angel-Velasquez, 28, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 2:37 p.m. Tuesday at Ninth and Nevada streets on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of controlled substance for sale and three misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $15,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A bartender on William Street called police at 2:29 a.m. because he took car keys away from an intoxicated patron and the 73-year-old man became belligerent. An arrest was made.

• A Mazda reported stolen out of Reno was found without its license plates in the 1100 block of Nevada Street at 9:36 a.m.

• Report of a 10-year-old student at Fremont hitting a teacher at 10:43 a.m.

• Accident at Northridge and Carriage Crest drives at 11:17 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Traffic citation on State Route 341 at 7:27 a.m.

• Traffic citation on USA Parkway at 1:13 p.m.

• Report of a vehicle being egged in the middle school parking lot at 7:59 p.m.
