INCLINE VILLAGE " Washoe County Sheriff's Deputies are currently investigating a fatal skiing accident at Mount Rose Ski Resort.
The victim, a 65 year old male, was reportedly skiing down Kit Carson Bowl. Eye witness accounts reported the victim lost control while skiing, struck a tree and was unresponsive immediately after the accident., according to the sheriff's department.
His name is being withheld until family have been notified.
Care Flight and the Incline Fire Department responded. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
