Carson City


The following people were arrested and booked into Carson City Jail.


All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 29-year-old Dayton man was arrested at 10:50 a.m. at the intersection of College Parkway and Challenger Way on suspicion of failure to appear in traffic court. Bail was set at $601.


• A 23-year-old Dayton woman was arrested at 11:43 a.m. at the intersection of College Parkway and Challenger Way on suspicion of being in contempt of court. Bail was set at $239.


• A 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 8:27 p.m. in the 2000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $1,232.


• A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 9:45 p.m. in the 2100 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of being in criminal contempt of court, destruction of city property and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $1,500.


• A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 11:15 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of resisting a police officer and being a drunken pedestrian. Bail was set at $500.


• A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 3:58 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Highway 50 and Empire Ranch Road on suspicion of failure to maintain a single lane, driving without a license and four misdemeanor counts of failure to appear in court on traffic violations. Bail was set at $1,600.




Lyon County


Sheriff's deputies responded to the following calls Friday in Lyon County:


• A man reported his PlayStation and games were taken at 6:29 p.m. in the 600 block of SilverLace Boulevard.


• A motorcyclist was reported to be on the road with his bike laying on top of him at 8:40 p.m. on the first block of Highway 50. The reporting party said it appeared to be an accident.


• A woman reported an argument between a man and woman who were an estranged couple at 9:54 p.m. in the 900 block of Green Valley Drive.
