Senior of the week

Stephen Foy has been selected as the Fernley Senior Center's Senior Volunteer of the Month for May.

Foy has lived in Fernley for 21Ú2 years. Prior to living in Fernley he lived in Henderson.

He is married to his wife Karen and has two children, Tracy and Steve. They also have six grandchildren. Prior to retiring, Foy worked for the Clark County School District in the maintenance department.

Every week, Foy volunteers his time playing wonderful music at the senior center. Steve has been doing this for a little more than two years. He loves to play guitar and loves to see the joy in the faces of the people he plays for.

Foy says, "Doing things for others like the music I play is very rewarding."

The center thanks Foy for the joy his music brings the center each week.
