Today's weather a little nicer in Carson City; road work continues

The Nevada Department of Transportation at 6:14 a.m. reports all routes open Northern Nevada with no controls.

Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Edmonds, and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.

Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are suggested.

Today's weather will be sunny with highs 54-64 and light winds becoming northeast around 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight, clear with lows 23-33 and northeast winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light.
