Youth events at Carson City Library, Children's Museum of Northern Nevada

Read to Your Kids Workshop, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Carson City Library.

UNR Cooperative Extension's Dan Weigel will present a workshop for families of young children on the importance of growing up reading. "Read To Your Kids" packets will be distributed.

In celebration of Week of the Young Child, children may bring in their art creations to display at the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada, 813 N. Carson St., 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
