Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Donald Ray McNeill II, 39, of Carson City, was arrested at 7:50 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $5,000.
• David Michael Franks, 43, a "dog seller" from Carson City, surrendered to the jail at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on a warrant for felony failure to appear on a drug charge. No bail was set.
•Tanya Marie Mattson, 30, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of East Fifth Street on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and burglary. She allegedly shoved her way into a home and began smashing items with a bat. Bail was set at $25,000.
• Laura Brzotstowski, 29, a cashier from Carson City, was arrested at 5:27 p.m. Thursday at Wal-Mart on suspicion of felony embezzlement. According to the arrest report, Brzotstowski allegedly gave a friend a $900 ring and a $400 watch, then gave the friend a refund when the items were returned. Bail was set at $15,000.
• Robert Brian Reed, 37, an iron worker from Carson City, was arrested at 11:17 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of felony using false identification to avoid prosecution and misdemeanor driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at $3,132.
• Jose Daniel Sanchez, Jr., 39, was additionally booked into the Carson City Jail Thursday on suspicion of felony battery by a prisoner. Sanchez, in custody on a charge of lewdness with a minor, allegedly assaulted fellow inmate William Nattrass on Thursday.
• Anita Garcia Torres, 54, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. Thursday in the 4300 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony prescription drug fraud. She allegedly changed the quantity of 10 pills, to 60 pills on a prescription for Vicodin.
• Gabino Garcia Tapia, 38, a landscaper from Carson City, was arrested at 10:21 a.m. Thursday on Walker Drive on a Lyon County warrant for suspicion of gross misdemeanor contracting without a license, a Virginia City warrant for misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation, misdemeanor having fictitious registration on his vehicle, driving without a license and driving without insurance. Tapia allegedly demolished and rebuilt a patio is Dayton without a contractor's license. No bail was set.
• A 26-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at 2:07 p.m. Thursday in the 1200 bloc block of Stanford Drive on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

• Coroner call in the 4400 block of Edmonds Drive at 1:40 a.m.
• Burglary report at Gas N Save in the 1300 block of South Carson Street at 6:05 a.m.
• Coroner call in the 1400 block of Parkland Avenue at 7:06 a.m.
• Fight report at Carson Middle School at 8:22 a.m. Three juveniles were arrested.
• Fraud report on Research Way at 11:24 a.m.
• Report of an "altercation between customers" in which one person hit another person with a car at 2:26 p.m. in the 3100 block of South Carson Street.
• Coroner call in the 1100 block of East Long Street at 3:26 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• Report of a 16-year-old detained for attempting to steal a bottle of brandy at 12:05 a.m. at Smith's in Dayton.
• Arrest at 2:28 a.m. on Highway 50 East in Mound House.
• Misdemeanor arrest on Rawhide Street in Silver Springs at 7:43 p.m.
• Report of a man bleeding from his face after having his home broken into on Circle Drive in Fernley at 11:21 p.m.
