A Carson City woman was listed in fair condition at a Reno hospital Monday following an early Sunday morning accident on Goni Road.

According to Carson City Sheriff's records, Anna Farr, 44, was northbound in her 2004 Taurus sedan approaching Old Hot Springs Road on Goni Road about 3:30 a.m.

Eduardo Sanchez, 21, also of Carson City, was eastbound at a "high rate of speed" in a 2001 Dodge Intrepid on Old Hot Springs Road, when he allegedly ran the stop sign and struck Farr's vehicle, the report states.

The impact trapped Farr in the vehicle. Her 19-year-old son, Chris, who was her passenger, was unharmed.

Three people in Sanchez' car were also unharmed.

According to the report, Sanchez and friends were leaving Club JB Latin Nightclub at the hot springs.

Farr was taken by helicopter to a Reno Hospital.

Sanchez was taken by ambulance to Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. Sheriff's reports indicate Sanchez submitted to a blood test to determine if he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the accident. Any charges are pending the results of the toxicology.
