Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until they are proven guilty in court:


• David Ramsey, 24, a laborer from Dayton, was arrested at 1:36 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of West John Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor intimidating a public officer and disorderly conduct. According to the arrest report, Ramsey decided to sleep off some alcohol on a stranger's porch. The homeowner called police and when officers arrived, Ramsey allegedly refused to leave "without a fight" saying he was fine where he was and he'd have his sister pick him up in the morning. His bail was set at $2,737.


• Michael Moceri, 20, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 3:51 p.m. Monday on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor driving without a seatbelt, obstructed driver's view, driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance. Bail was set at $3,898.


• A 42-year-old unemployed Carson City woman was arrested at 9:58 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of Brown Street on suspicion of misdemeanor threats, obstructing and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $1,376.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Coins were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of Cambridge Court.


• A wallet was stolen from a vehicle in the 1900 block of Desert Peach Drive.


• A fire department portable radio was stolen from a vehicle on Riparian Way.


• A stereo was stolen from a vehicle on Ridgefield Drive.


• Paperwork was stolen from a vehicle on Janas Way.


• Report of a fight between two females at Eagle Valley Middle School at 9:54 a.m.


• Accident on Saliman Road at 11:29 a.m.


• Accident in the 300 block of Winnie Lane at 1:37 p.m.


• Accident at Fairview Drive and East Fifth Street at 5:33 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Reese River Road in Fernley at 1:04 a.m.


• Graffiti report at Dayton High School at 7:57 a.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Tenth Street in Silver Springs at 9:28 a.m.


• Burglary report on Jill Marie Lane in Fernley at 10:22 a.m.


• Coroner call on Roughing It Road in Mark Twain at 2:43 p.m.


• Neighbor dispute on Angel Street in Silver Springs at 5:23 p.m.


• Residential burglary report on Maria Court in Fernley at 5:44 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Report of a possible brake fire on a Federal Express truck on Interstate 80 at 9:17 a.m.


• A caller reported finding a dog tied to their front porch on Lousetown Road at 6:54 p.m.
