Final performances for Smokey Joe's Cafe will be 7:30 p.m., tonight, Friday and Saturday at the Brewery Art Center's Outdoor Stage, 511 W. Baby Signs Parent Workshop Saturday

The Children's Museum of Northern Nevada hosts "Baby Signs" Parent Workshop, 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday at 813 N. Carson St., in the conference room. Auditions for 'Seussical Junior' Sept. 10, 11

Wild Horse Children's Theater will hold auditions 4:30-8:30 p.m., Sept. 10 and 11, for ages 7 and up for its production of "Seussical Junior" at the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada. Auditions are by appointment only. Must call for an audition slot. Those auditioning should bring a short (1 minute or less) song with accompaniment on tape or CD with no background vocals.
