Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 34-year-old cook from Carson City was arrested at 2:41 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of Airport Road on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of two suitcases under a shrub at Fleischmann Way and Mountain Street at 8:06 p.m.

• Graffiti reports on South Carson Street, West Nye Lane and College Parkway.

• HIt-and-run report in the 500 block of North Carson Street.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Grand larceny report on West Main Street in Fernley at 4:10 a.m.

• Residential burglary report on Meadow Circle in Fernley at 6:37 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest in Silver Springs at 9:08 a.m.

• Man reported his son broke into his home and stole items at 4:49 p.m. in Stagecoach.

• A woman in Fernley reported her nephew was stealing money from her.

• A homeowner returned from vacation to a burglarized home in Silver Springs.
