Artown is over, but you can enjoy artists right here in Carson City at the fifth annual Art at the Greenhouse Garden Center.

There will be a wide variety of art in oils, pastels, watercolors, stained and fused glass, gourd art, jewelry, and folk art. Chuck Wayne will be providing soothing jazz sounds on his keyboard, and Brenda Lockie-Knight will be providing beautiful music on her harp as you stroll through the beautiful flowers and running fountains.

You can also help support the Carson High School Band program. The band boosters will be selling hot dogs, soft drinks and snacks for a nominal donation.

Finally, come give blood at the Blood Mobile that will be set up that day. Greenhouse Garden Center owner Dave Ruff will be giving all people donating that day 20 percent off up to $100 of purchases. Visit all of the artists and vote for your favorite ones.
