Loretta Jillson, 62, a 20 year resident of Zephyr Cove, died August 9, 2008. She was born May 29, 1946 in Pennington Gap, Va. Among her survivors are husband, Brian Jillson; brothers, Carl, John, Jim, and Jess Roop; and sisters, Christene Pennington and Judy Harber. A funeral mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m., Thursday at Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Church, Zephyr Cove. Burial will follow in Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery, Reno. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
