WILKINS " Authorities in northeast Nevada reported no damage or injuries after magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported just before 4 a.m. north of the northeast Nevada town of Wells.

Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Stewart in nearby Elko said Tuesday he hadn't heard about the temblor and got no calls about it.

The University of Nevada, Reno, Seismological Laboratory put the quake nine miles south-southwest of Wilkins, just west of U.S. 93.

Wells, 350 miles east of Reno, is still recovering from a magnitude 6 quake that damaged its historic downtown district on Feb. 21.
