The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Spaghetti w/meat sauce, spinach salad, garlic bread, pears with Jell-O.

Tuesday: Ham and cabbage, yams, whole wheat roll, plums, cookies.

Wednesday: Chicken and mushroom sauce, beets, red potatoes, whole wheat roll, Ambrosia salad.

Thursday: Beef stew, cornbread, steamed cabbage, mixed fruit.

Friday: Senior picnic at Out of Town Park in Fernley. Center closed.

Fernley

The menu for the Fernley Senior Center 1170 W. Newlands Drive:

Monday: Teriyaki chicken, fried rice, layered salad, fresh orange.

Tuesday: Meatball stew, cornbread with margarine, steamed cabbage, mixed fruit.

Wednesday: Hot turkey sandwich, bread stuffing, gravy, carrots, peaches, sherbet.

Thursday: Sloppy Joe on a bun, broccoli, fries, pears, cookie.

Friday: Senior picnic at Out of Town park, 11 a.m. Center closed.

Silver Springs

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.

Monday: Grilled cheese sandwich, potato, orange, spinach salad, corn chowder, tropical fruit.

Tuesday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, taco salad, beans, ground beef, lettuce, tomato, onions, green salad, baked chicken, mashed potatoes, sautéed zucchini, spice cake, apple.

Wednesday: Ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, whole wheat roll, fresh plums, peanut butter cookie.

Thursday: Chicken Parmesan, spaghetti noodles, mixed veggies, garlic-cheese bread, Mandarin oranges, ice cream.

Friday: Picnic in the Park, Fernley.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Chicken Caesar sandwich, pasta salad, melon.

Tuesday: Chili verde burrito, refried beans, Spanish rice.

Wednesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetables, cookie.

Thursday: Barbecue spare ribs, corn on the cob, Tater Tots, pie.

Friday: Salmon cakes on wild greens, tartar sauce, cottage cheese with fruit, pudding, ice cream.

Yerington

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:

Monday: Spaghetti, green beans, colorful salad, garlic bread, pudding.

Tuesday: Chicken salad sandwich, fries, lime spring salad, cookie.

Wednesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetable, carrot salad, Jell-O with fruit, bread.

Thursday: Taco salad, lemon bisque.

Friday: Barbecue in the park with hamburgers, potato salad, watermelon, ranch beans, apple-walnut squares.
