Sanford "Sam" Sternberger, 96, a Carson City resident, died August 17, 2008 at Carson Convalescent Center. He was born June 8, 1912 in San Francisco, Calif. to Moses and Emma (Henry) Lewis. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
