Willie Mae Moore, 89, a 17-year Carson City resident, was born Aug. 1, 1919 in Paducah, Ky. and passed away Aug. 14, 2008 in Carson City.
She retired from Lockheed, enjoyed painting and crafts, and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, George White Moore and by brothers, Virgil and Dumas.
She is survived by her sons, David Moore and wife, Carol of Carson City and William F. Moore of Gardnerville and two grandsons, Michael and Chris. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Saturday, at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City. A funeral service will be 3 p.m., Sunday, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Private entombment will be in Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
