A convicted Oregon sex offender who was once the publisher of a guide to Pacific Northwest strip clubs is wanted on several felony warrants, including one for rape out of Oregon, and is being sought by Carson City deputies for failing to register here.
Sheriff's Detective Bob Motamenpour said that Philip Reed Yoder, 56, was living and working at the Golden Dragon apartments on North Carson Street as the manager recently.
Motamenpour said its believed that Yoder has been in the area since 2006, but has evaded all contact with law enforcement.
Yoder is described as 6-feet-4-inches tall, weighing 270 pounds, with red hair. He wears glasses and is known to be in the company of an African American woman about 25 years old.
He's believed to be driving a white 2001 Mercury sedan with Nevada license plate 969VTF or an older model gold Mercedes Benz with body damage.
