Clay solid in shot put

Bryan Clay had a solid throw on his first attempt in the shot put, going 50 feet, 3/4 inch in the third event of the Olympic decathlon in Beijing. The throw gave him 806 points, so Clay continues to lead the competition with 2,800 points.

Clay is coached by 1983 Carson High graduate Kevin Reid.
