Our beloved Ronnie Likes, 59, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008 after a long illness. Ronnie was born May 5, 1949 in Sunnyside, Wash. The family moved to Reno when Ronnie was 10. He attended Reno schools and graduated from University of Nevada Reno School of Journalism. He received has law degree at Willamette University, Oregon. Ronnie worked for many years as an attorney in the field of workers compensation.
Ronnie was a wonderful caring friend to all. He was exuberant, cheerful, and optimistic in all things. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Ronnie is survived by his father, Phil, sister, Terri (Frank) Roderick and numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m., today at St. John's Presbyterian Church, 1070 W. Plumb Lane, Reno. In lieu or flowers please donate to Cancer Research.
