Harvey G. Johnson

Harvey Johnson was born to James R. Johnson and Maggie Conn Johnson in Confluence, Pa. After graduation from high school Harvey joined the U.S. Army and served until 1937. He then joined the U.S. Navy in 1937. He served in the Navy until May 2, 1955 achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer, serving in World War II through the Korean Conflict until he retired. He met and married Vincie Dee Caskey in November 4, 1940. He moved from California to Nevada in 1983 after the death of his wife.

He is survived by nieces and nephews. Harvey will be buried in Cypress, Calif. next to his wife. No services will be held in Nevada.
