Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Stephen Adaid Robben, 77, a retired Carson City man, was arrested at 8:57 p.m. Wednesday at Division and Ninth streets on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child abuse and misdemeanor contempt of court warrant. He was allegedly seen smacking his 14-year-old grandson in the face on Mountain Street. Bail was set at $2,835.

- A 31-year-old homeless man was arrested Wednesday at 6:20 p.m. in the 600 block of Colorado Street on suspicion of misdemeanor destruction of property, threats and resisting a peace officer. Bail was set at $2,082.

- Kevin Paul Boyd, 43, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:37 p.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on a Concord, Calif., felony warrant. Bail was set at $50,000.

- A 48-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

- Report of an attempted break in at a home on California Street.

- A bicycle was reported stolen at 1:07 p.m. from the 1400 block of Ridge Point Drive.

- A stolen U-Haul truck was reported recovered at 3:27 p.m.

- Report of three vehicles struck with paintballs at 11:48 p.m. in the 1400 block of La Loma Drive.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

- Accident on Dayton Valley Road at 7:30 a.m.

- Report of a bicycle stolen from the 7800 block of Iroquois Trail in Silver Springs at 7:50 a.m.

- Arrest on Mountain Rose Drive at 3:46 p.m. of Archie Bullhenry May, 31, of Fernley, on suspicion of felony eluding a police officer, preventing a victim from reporting a crime, misdemeanor domestic battery, failure to stop at a stop sign and driving without a valid license. Bail was set at $28,536.

- A Fernley mother reported at 3:52 p.m. that her 13-year-old son was stabbed at school with a protractor.

- Report of jewelry stolen from a home on Spring Drive in Fernley at 7:04 p.m.

- Coroner call on Roughing It Road at 8:54 p.m.
