Evelyn R. Matthews, 85, died Nov. 30, 2008 in Carson City. She was born Aug. 27, 1923 to Braxton D. Lambeth and Lu Emma Dougherty Lambeth in Kansas. She is survived by sons David and Jack Matthews; daughter Connie Fink; brother Don Lambeth; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Capitol City Cremation and Burial is in charge of arrangements.
