RENO " State regulators have fined an assisted living home in Reno nearly $122,000 for failing to ensure residents received their medication.

Park Place Assisted Living Residences was found to be out of compliance when inspected in May.

A spokeswoman with the Nevada State Health Department says the total levy is for the 152 days until compliance was achieved.

In the May inspection regulators found that 20 of 45 Park Place residents had not received their medications. Authorities say follow-up inspections over the next three months found the problems had not been corrected.

The agency says the facility was notified of the fine last week and is now in compliance.
