Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Hector Tinajero-Ramirez, 24, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 3:18 p.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony robbery. He allegedly tried to steal a toothbrush from a grocery store, then fought with clerks when they stopped him. Bail was set at $40,000.

- James Montel Dean, 22, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 4 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor destruction of jail property. He allegedly tore up his mattress to make string with which to pass back and forth notes to other inmates. Bail was set at $2,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

- Report of a man trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill at a casino on Goni Road at 2:44 a.m.

- A 2004 red Mustang with Nevada plates LV9V17 was reported missing from the 1500 block of East Long Street at 5:26 p.m.


Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

- Arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 1:04 a.m.

- Arrest on Main Street in Fernley at 1:50 a.m.

- Report of an attempted rape of a man in Fernley at 6:08 p.m.


Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

- Report of a pit bull chasing horses on Enterprise Road at 12:04 p.m.

- Report of a house on Riverview Road filled with smoke at 12:32 p.m.

- Arrest on Lockwood Market at 4:53 p.m.
