CARSON CITY


The luncheon menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 901 Beverly Drive, includes milk or coffee every meal. The menu is subject to change without notice.


Monday: Beef taco on corn tortilla with lite sour cream, lettuce, onion, tomato and cheese, salsa, refried beans, cinnamon pears, ice cream.


Tuesday: Creamed turkey over buttermilk biscuit, mixed vegetables, orange, chocolate-coated graham cracker.


Wednesday: Beef stroganoff with egg noodles, beets, honeydew melon, French bread with margarine.


Thursday: Barbecue chicken, baked beans, glazed carrots, Ambrosia, spice cake, cornbread with honey butter.


Friday: Pork chop, yams, garden salad with fat-free dressing, applesauce, whole wheat roll with margarine.




DAYTON


The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:


Monday: Herb chicken, baked potato with sour cream, veggie medley, whole wheat bread, apple butter, apple.


Tuesday: Pork strips, beets, pinto beans, roll with margarine, Mandarin oranges, pumpkin something.


Wednesday: Ground beef taco, rice, zucchini with tomatoes, chips and salsa, melon.


Thursday: Veal cutlet, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed veggies, apricot, brownie.


Friday: Barbecued ribs, scalloped potatoes, corn on the cob, Mandarin oranges, cake and ice cream.




DOUGLAS COUNTY


The luncheon menu for the Douglas Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane.


Monday: Baked Dijon chicken, spaghetti salad, sweet potatoes, garlic bread, grapes.


Tuesday: Beef taco, ranch style beans, Mexicorn, orange, rice pudding.


Wednesday: Pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes with gravy, fruit salad, California blend vegetables, dinner roll, applesauce, cake and ice cream.


Thursday: Veal Parmesan, Caesar salad, rice pilaf, garlic bread, cherry-vanilla ice cream.


Friday: Turkey bean soup, tuna-stuffed tomato, banana nut muffin, Mandarin orange.




SILVER SPRINGS


The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.


Monday: Baked pork chops, steamed cabbage, bread, baked apples.


Tuesday: Liver and onions, veal cutlet with gravy, cauliflower, mashed potatoes, mixed fruit, bread.


Wednesday: Chili rellanos, broccoli and cauliflower, Spanish rice, flour tortilla, spicy pears.


Thursday: Salmon, rice pilaf, baked potato, glazed carrots, strawberry shortcake.


Friday: Breakfast burrito, potatoes, sausage, eggs, V8 juice, orange.




STOREY COUNTY


The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:


Monday: Chicken Alfredo, lettuce and tomato salad, fruit.


Tuesday: Stuffed bell peppers, spinach spaghetti, mixed greens, garlic bread, nectarine, milk.


Wednesday: Chicken ala king, rice, Waldorf salad.


Thursday: Hamburgers, fries, coleslaw, fruit salad.


Friday: Tuna casserole, mixed veggies, cottage cheese and peaches.




YERINGTON


The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:


Monday: Beef tacos, Spanish rice, Mexican corn, ice cream.


Tuesday: Stuffed baked potato, beet salad, cookies and fruit.


Wednesday: Turkey tetrazinni, frozen broccoli, cottage cheese and fruit salad, bread, cherry cobbler.


Thursday: Barbecued hamburgers, macaroni salad, cook's choice dessert.


Friday: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, broccoli salad, corn on the cob, rolls, chocolate cake.




FERNLEY


The menu for the Fernley Senior Center 1170 W. Newlands Drive:


Monday: Chicken and dumplings, broccoli, peaches, gingerbread cake with whipped topping.


Tuesday: Barbecue pork ribs, scalloped potatoes, mustard greens, apple, whole wheat bread.


Wednesday: Turkey ala king with noodles, green peas, mixed fruit, biscuit, cookie.


Thursday: Roast beef, red potatoes, mixed veggies, garden salad, peaches, gingerbread cake.


Friday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, cauliflower, veggie salad, garlic bread, orange.
