A request by Sierra Pacific Power Co. to expand it's substation at Six Mile Canyon Road in the Mark Twain area of Lyon County will be on the agenda of the next Lyon County Commission meeting.
The request was approved by the Lyon County Planning Commission last month.
The new line will tap into a 120,000-volt line that stretches from the Fort Churchill Power Plant to the Steamboat Substation.
