A thank you from Jack's Valley Elementary School

The Children at Jacks Valley Elementary School wanted to thank Big George Ventures for the financial contribution of almost $180,000.

We wanted to show our neighbors how thankful we are by placing a large 'Thank You Card' that was signed by almost every child in the school, as well as the staff. The whole school has benefited from this generous donation so we all wanted to pitch in to create this special thank you.

The card was posted on the front fence for all to admire who drive by the elementary school.

Big George Venture's donation helped the school complete several goals including a quarter-mile walking track that has been in the planning for years now, a beautiful labyrinth was created in brick work to promote peace of mind, and our library received money to enhance our Accelerated Reader program.

A peaceful playground was painted on our blacktop to create many outdoor games for recess and physical education classes.

Our music program was able to buy thirty guitars and we have laptops for our teachers to use regularly. Our school nurse has all the supplies she needs now.

Every classroom has a classroom library, magnetic white board, telephone/intercom system, and there will soon be 'clocks.'

So, thanks Big George Ventures. We will be able to think of you for years to come.
