CHS athletes need their blue slips
Carson High athletes who are participating in spring sports need to have their blue slips completed.
The first day for practice in spring sports is Saturday, Feb. 23. If athletes do not have their blue slips completed they won't be able to participate on that day.
Spring sports are baseball, softball, boys golf, boys and girls track and boys and girls swimming. For more information, call the CHS athletic office, 283-1602.
Silver Oak senior memberships available
Membership applications for the Silver Oak Men's Golf Club are now available at the Silver Oak Golf Course pro shop.
The season will run from April 1 to October 28. Membership includes a season kickoff dinner, season-ending awards banquet, gree fee discounts with guests, pro shop credits, free range balls on play days and food and beverage discounts.
The Silver Oak Men's Golf Club plays every Tuesday. Membership is $150, which includes the Northern Nevada Golf Association fee. For more information, call 841-7000.
