Next Lyon Commission meeting in Silver Springs

The Lyon County Commissioners will hold their next meeting in Silver Springs.

The meeting will be at 9 a.m. Feb. 21, Senior/Community Center on Fort Churchill Road in Silver Springs.

As part of their duties as ex officio board members of the Silver Springs General Improvement District, the commissio will hold a public hearing on proposed sewer service rule changes.

The commission is also expacted to hold a public hearing on a proposed 1/4-cent tax on infrastructure, with the proceed to pay for expansion of the Lyon County Jail and possibly a juvenile detention center.
