Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Elston Mace Jr., 48, of Zephyr Hills, Fla., was arrested at 10:45 a.m. on suspicion of felony grand larceny. Mace Jr. allegedly stole $3,800 from a truck driver who hired him to help with a shipment. Bail was set at $25,000.


• Tyler Scott Norman, 19, of Carson City, was additionally booked in the Carson City Jail on suspicion of felony battery by a prisoner. He allegedly attacked another inmate. Bail on the newest offense is set at $10,000.


• A 21-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 4:50 a.m. in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Her bail was set at $237.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Graffiti on Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Mountain Street at 7:29 a.m.


• Accident at Stewart and Robinson streets at 9:57 a.m.


• Accident at East Fifth and Roop streets at 4:18 p.m.


• Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 5:35 p.m.


• Accident in front of Carson High School at 9:31 p.m.


• A teen reported his girlfriend's father was "throwing her down and abusing her," at 11:19 p.m. The girl suffered a dislocated knee. An arrest was made.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• A report of a fight between a man and a woman in Silver Springs at 1:01 a.m. The male stated he has a "license to kill." An arrest was made.


• Larceny report on Canal Road in Fernley at 8:05 a.m.


• Latency report at Smith's in Dayton at 7:48 p.m.
