Members of the Regional Transportation Commission on Wednesday evening approved cutting Jump Around Carson (JAC) bus service from Carson City to Douglas County.
At the same meeting, commissioners approved an agreement with Douglas County for that jurisdiction to provide service between Costco and Topsy Lane.
A JAC route will take riders to Costco, where Douglas' bus service, where Douglas Area Rapid Transit (DART), will pick up riders at take them to the shopping center at Topsy Lane. Both counties would help pay for a bus stop hut.
Douglas County votes on the agreement Feb. 21.
