The westbound lanes of Highway 50 East are blocked because of a rollover accident involving two cars that occurred just before 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The driver of one of the vehicles was taken by ambulance to Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. The status of the other driver is unknown.
Nevada Highway Patrol officers are investigating. Eastbound lanes are moving slowly through the area.
