Early this morning at about 3:20 a.m., Douglas County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a residence at 2800 Wildhorse Lane, in the Johnson Lane area of Minden, on the report of a man shot at that location, according to Douglas County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Jim Halsey.
Responding deputies arrived and found a deceased white male adult inside the residence. The decedent appears to be the victim of a homicide by gunshot.
The victim's identification is being withheld at this time.
"The investigation is active and on-going. We cannot disclose any additional information at this time," said Halsey.
