A man was shot in the face Friday night and authorities in Stateline and South Lake Tahoe were searching for one, possibly two men following a fight that happened inside a casino parking garage.

At least one gunshot was fired and pellets struck a man in the neck and cheek area, according to South Lake Tahoe Police and Douglas County Sheriff's officers at the scene.

The injured man is conscious, alert and breathing. The man was wounded inside the Harveys Casino parking garage, authorities said.

The incident was reported at 9:38 p.m. The suspects were last seen near the Marriott complex, possibly heading southbound on Pioneer Trail. The suspects, possibly two men, are described as Hispanic males dressed in black.

Authorities shut down the parking garage at the casino to allow for the investigation.

At least one suspect was said to be wearing a black hoodie with blue jeans.

As of press time no other details were available.
