Mayor Marv Teixeira will propose a plan to give an additional $10 million from Carson City for the V & T Railway.
He will present the plan at the March 3 at a meeting for the Nevada Commission for the Reconstruction of the V & T Railway.
Carson City has so far given $21 million to the project that is expected to cost $55 million.
The 18-mile tourist railroad is under construction and will run from Virginia City to Carson City when completed.
Teixeira will give details of the plan today.
