High winds at Highway 88 and Centerville Road across from the Mountain View Tree Farm at 931 State Route 88 threaten to topple power poles and have caused the closure of the highway in the immediate area.
Kimmerling Road has also been closed.
Lyon County crews are have contained a 2.5 acre fire off Breakaheart Road.
