• The Basil, 311 N. Carson St., restaurant, scored 98 points. Frozen meat is being thawed in a manner that does not minimize microbial growth. Specifically food prep sink area.

• Garibaldis, 307 N. Carson St., restaurant, scored 94 points. Hand washing sinks are not convenient or accessible. Water to hand wash sink not available to wash hands. Because it leaks the water has been turned off. Repair immediately. Food contact surfaces of equipment or utensils are not clean. Speed gun and holster are dirty. They have an accumulation of growth inside nozzle and cap. Clean gun and holster daily to maintain clean and sanitary conditions.

• Taqueria Guadalupana, 2495 N. Carson St., restaurant, scored 98 points. Potentially hazardous food is held cold between 41-45 degrees.
