Marion Grace Newcomb

Passed away Thursday, January 17, 2008 in her sleep during her prayers, at 11:20 p.m.

Marion was born February 2, 1930 to the late William Ellery and Mary Elizabeth Nebeker, in Glendale, Calif.

Marion married Ralph Elmer Newcomb May 30, 1951 in Redondo Beach, Calif.

Marion is survived by her husband of 56 years 8 months Ralph Elmer Newcomb, Her three children: Michael Leslile and his wife Sue Newcomb, Laura Anne and her husband Thomas Francis Burke, and Susan Jane Newcomb all of Gardverville. She also has four grandchildren: Jeremy D. and his wife Erin Lee Davidson, Alicia Anne and her husband Ramson William Fehr, Jessica Leanne Weisser, and Joseph David Newcomb. Finally three great grandchildren: Spencer Michael Davidson, Cameron D. Davidson, and Sierra Anne Davidson.

Marion was a Homemaker, loved her family and church. She enjoyed watching birds in the yard, painting statue craft, playing card and board games, also games on the computers. She loved dancing, singing, and listening to music. She always had a song in her heart.

Celebration of Marion's life will be held on her natural birthday as we celebrate her eternal birthday with Pastor Leo Kruger officiating at 10 a.m., on February 2, 2008, at her church, Valley Christian Fellowship, 1267 Hwy. 395 So., Gardnerville, Nevada 89410. Reception fallowing at the church then blessing of her resting place at East Valley Memorial Park.
